The ”Edo-Tokyo Museum” has opened in 1993 as a museum reflecting on the history, culture and future of Edo Tokyo.
On the 1st floor a special exhibition is held and you can find a permanent exhibition on the 5th and 6th floor and a small library on the 7th floor. Museum shops and restaurants can also be found on these floors. The numerous full size models and scale models of Edo Tokyo which were reconstructed based on detailed investigation and research are the museum’s greatest attraction. You can learn while enjoying the everyday life of people living during this era. https://www.smartmagazine.jp/tokyo/spots/109/
