Asakusa Engei Hall浅草演芸ホール

The Asakusa Engei Hall was established in 1964 for the amusement of ordinary people.
At the shopping district Asakusa Rokku Broadway gods of art are worshipped everywhere. As part of this the ”Asakusa Engei Hall” is known for being a place where entertainers like Kiyoshi Atsumi and Takeshi Kitano have once improved their performances. You can mainly watch the Japanese comic storytelling Rakugo and variety shows like comic dialogues and sketches, magic and acrobatics in between. There are shows during the day and in the evening and since there is no general replacement system you can watch continuously (you do not have to reenter). https://www.smartmagazine.jp/tokyo/spots/1480/
